The Ducky first met on me birthday, February 23, 2008, through I guess ya didn’t figure on as being a Single’s Club, eh? Once a week, I get on to add new members, upload art to the club’s gallery at the request of the members, and to fave artwork of the many talented artists who draw Negaduck. I did a search of Negaduck art and came across ‘s very talented drawings of Negaduck and she thanked the club for faving them and she quickly became a member, not only of the club, but of the Darkwing Duck FanART Community. Through our comments on our artwork and by chatting on the now defunct Darkwing Tower, we quickly became close friends and have since fell in love with each other.





Through our chats on Yahoo IM, we have gotten to know each other very well and have been planning too meet each other in person. What seemed as a near impossible task turned out to be a dream come true. We waited for the perfect moment to make our plans to meet each other, for we knew we had some obstacles to overcome. Mainly, the Ducky had to let ‘s parents get to know me as well. After all, the Ducky was only communicating with , but to her parents, they don’t know me at all. And ya only hear about the bad stuff on television about internet meeting and dating, not the good stuff. After all, the Ducky didn’t want to get the door slammed in his beak





So to overcome this obstacle, the Ducky wrote some letters and cards, even sent gifts. We had planned on meeting another year from now, but we suddenly decided to meet this year, and I asked to ask her parents if it was ok for us to meet, and her parents gave the green light!





The Ducky also had to overcome me fear of flying as I have never flown on an airplane before!! I guess as long as Launchpad ain’t flying the airplane, I was going to be all right





Once I got to Germany, the Ducky immediately fell in love with the City of Cologne and the Countryside that surrounds Cologne. and I finally was able to embrace in person, and she showed me the many gorgeous churches and other magnificent sites there are to see in Cologne. Although the Ducky was extremely nervous about meeting her parents, they had welcomed me with open arms and treated me like one of the family. is truly blessed with a wonderful, loving, and caring family!! I love them like me own family. I even got the chance to meet her grandmother, and she is so very warm and loving!!





Both and the Ducky so hated to part on our last day and we even shed a few tears that the Ducky had to fly back to Jersey. Hopefully next year, will be able to visit the Ducky in New Jersey and I will take her around to see Vermont, the Jersey Shore, and me parents and I can take her to New York City, and perhaps around Christmas, the Ducky can go back to Germany to see Cologne at Christmas Time.





Until then both and the Ducky will be uploading a few of the piccies that we took on our adventure together in Cologne. I want to share with all of me close friends here on DeviantART some of the lifetime memories that and I have.
