:giggle: :giggle: :giggle: Well the Ducky went again to the Basha Kill, in Wurtsboro, New York with me Aunt Gen who is 86 years old!! She loves birding and the out doors. I will post a picture of her in me Scraps Section :D

Anyway there was a considerable amount of birdy action on the marsh, for the Eagles really put on a great show!! :clap: :clap: Unfortunately, I couldn't get a picture of them, though. The young eagles in the nest where very restless, and they were on the edge of the nest constantly standing up, spreading their wings, and showing their stuff. We also caught the adult parents, swooping down at the marsh, catching a fish, and bringing it to their young ones to feed on. :clap: :clap: :clap:

Of course, this Great Blue Heron had to do some fishing on his own :hungry: :hungry:

Oh the Basha Kill is such a relaxing and peacefull place indeed :D I just love going there! The Ducky is such at peace whenever I am there, and the Volunteers make ya feel so warm and welcome!!

In fact, they asked me to be a volunteer :D :excited:

I've seen several of these guys in the rivers around my hometown. The area near my hometown is still largely rural, making it an excellent place to see wildlife such as this. Sometime you should check out places around here in Texas. In fact, there's an animal preserve near my hometown that I'm sure you'd be interested in.

Yuppers, the Great Blue Heron are quite common, and tis funny too because they were right in me backyard a year ago, because me next door neighbor has a wee fish pond that was stocked with koi, and boy did the Blue Heron LOVE THAT!!! They really went to town!!

I'm sure I would love the animal preserve that are in Texas. Only the Ducky is scared of flying :O_o:
