New Saint Mary's

Saint Mary's Episcopal (Anglican Catholic) Church is my house of worship. After Old Saint Mary's Church, was still stands on the corner of West Broad and Wood Streets in the Historic City of Burlington, New Jersey, and was built in 1702 was getting a wee small for the growing parish, Bishop George Washington Doan hired famed Architect Richard John Updike to design the first cruciform church in the United States. The Church was originally built as a Cathederal Church in 1856, but was downgraded to "Church" status after Trinity Cathederal was built on West State Street in Trenton.

Many bishops from 1702 until the present are buried in this historic cemetery that is located behind the church. The cemetery also contains many soldiers from every war that the United States was every involved in, from the American Revolutionary War to the present Iraq War. Also, many family from President Ulysses S. Grant is buried within these historic walls. And yes, The Duck will also be buried in this cemetery. I have been baptised, confirmed, and is presently an acolyte at Saint Mary's.
