Darkwing Duck is trying to figure out which way the Fearsome Five just went after Megavolt relieved Scrooge McDuck of his wire rope (cable) ! He's probably going to use it to build another gigantic magnet

Any, I don't think the ducky did too bad a job with Darkwing Duck in this piccie After using this building as a backdrop in me last Darkwing Duck piccie, wanted to see the whole buidling. I tried to capture as much as the street scape as possible.

This building is located in White City, but the entire Historic Roebling Steelmill has a total of 20 buildings that also are located in South Trenton and Chambersburg sections of Trenton. This particular building was restored, and is currently being used for senior housing.

Some of the other buildings in South Trenton are being used for New Jersey State Office Buildings, and the Roebling Market occupies some of the other buildings in Chambersburg. Sadly, some of the buidlings have been severly neglected and are falling down.

The Roebling Steelmill was started by John A Roebling, whose family came from Germany in the 1880's and invented the wire rope (cable) and in its heyday produced all the wire rope to support many suspension bridges that are still in use today throughout the United States. Two very famous suspension bridges that used Roebling's wire rope for the superior strength was the Golden Gate Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Also, Roebling has great pride to me family as well, because in White City and Trenton alike, Roebling was a major employer to the area, and me great grandfather and grandfather both worked there. Me great grandfather used to feed the wire into the machines that used to band it together and me grandfather worked the cranes that would take a spool of wire rope and dip the spool into acid in order to galvanize it.
